"at the moment my work examines the theme of children and play; how resourceful and creative kids can be when left to their own devices.….sometimes the figures are dwarfed by the background, often the context seems hostile or unsafe. In doing this I wanted the viewer to question the line we draw between safety - and teaching independence in children; something we are constantly reminded of by the media."
