Rachel Lambert's series of prints - 'A Journey Through Pictures' is inspired by her trip to Nepal and India between 1998 and 2000. Here, she has captured her experiences of the landscapes as well as her 'internal journey of misplacement and finding a sense of home'.

The images came from 'a desire to visually articulate my feelings' Lambert explains, 'what it feels like to let go, to dance with life, to wait.' It is through an exciting combination of playful imagery and vibrant colour that she sets out to capture the viewer.

Rachel Lambert studied the Visual Arts and Fine Art at Dartington College of Arts and Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education. She has held solo exhibitions in London and Bristol and is exhibiting for the first time with David Simon Gallery in March 2007.
